Welcome To Stow Park Community Centre

Help us keep our food bank alive

Stow Park Community Centre, like other charities are facing unprecedented times due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Over 90% of our Centre activities are now closed and today, we are working daily to maintain our vital food bank service to help feed the most vulnerable in our local community. We supply upwards of 150 food parcels per week.

Our income from regular donors and community supporters who up until last week rented rooms from us has reduced by a staggering 90%.

Please help us to keep our food bank alive and donate today via our ‘just giving link below’. No matter how small the donation, every penny helps us purchase the food we need to continue to help those vulnerable adults in our local community in Newport.

Founded in Stow Park Newport, built and opened in 2010. We are the mission of Stow Park Church, we work with vulnerable and homeless people together with the unemployed and disadvantaged in our local community. We can offer help to anyone who seeks it. We have within the centre other organisations who can offer specific assistance if required. People can be referred to us initially by Social Services, Salvation Army. Housing Associations, plus other charitable organisations, or they simply arrive on our doorstep, where there is always a welcome. We anticipate that the total footfall passing through our centre could increase to around 30,000 by 2020.
